World Of Color

You can only run away for so long
You can’t hide from the past
You can’t escape your feelings
But you can learn to deal with them
To learn from past mistakes
Move forward, not back
To choose to not go to where it was all black
But instead to a new world of color
A world of hope, a world of peace
A world where you are in control

Fear; A Struggle

The fear comes back
The dam is broken
Fear is released
Gushing it fills every inch of my body
My soul, my inner being terrified
Of what could easily be retold
I wish it never was, but it is
I wish it never could be, but it can
The fear will always stay, but time will move on
Moving foward, yet being pulled back
All at once it starts to attack
This is the story of fear that is all so clear
It’s the tale i’ve come to bear

Dream Love

Pretty soon, off to sleep
Dreams overpower, unconcious state
I am only yours, for tonight only
If we had more we can.
For now we don’t, so we can’t
Look in my eyes, show no hate
Let’s cuddle, just relax
For soon it will all just be a dream
The sun will come and wash it all away
Then it will come another day.

The Endless Story

Once again it starts
Like it never parts
Maybe I should friend it
Then I wouldn’t have to pretend
Put on a mask, a facade
Be strong, but yet weak
It would be part of me
Instead of just my enemy
But alas we fight
Night after night
Day after day
Simple betrayal at it’s best
It’s all in my mind they say
Is it?
Am I crazy?
Or is just some sort of poetic justice?
Maybe it will end in a heroic fight
I would be the hero
I would be the one who did something right
Instead of the failure
I wouldn’t have to keep looking over my shoulder
But the story goes on….

True Feelings

Ever feel like your on the outside looking in
Disengaged from reality, lost from view
No one is around to save you
You cry out but no one hears you?
The maze your in makes no sense?
It all goes round and round
Never-ending madness surrounds?
Sounds like me actually. Could be you too.
Maybe we are just one of the few
Or maybe we are the only two
Can you tell me you feel it too
Before i come unglued?

The Abyss

Sometimes it all seems clear
But then it all disappears
Left to wander lost
I struggle with the loss
I think i know who i am
And then i’m gone again
Running through the abyss
Just like a hit and miss
Can you find the lost one?

They say it’s all in how you view yourself
But what if it’s in my head?
What if i can’t quit hearing the words that were said
Fat, elephant, ugly, you name it
What if when i look in the mirror i see a whale
No joke, seriousness in tow
What if i feel that low?
What if i lose the weight but still feel the hate?

Pretty Pills

The pretty pills all make no sense
They help for awhile
Then they all just add to the pile
I’m sick of this
Sick of being a lab rat
Sick of getting fat
I want to come back to life
To quit feeling so lifeless
So down and out
Take these pills
Oh how colorful they might be
And take them away from me

The Fight

I struggle with myself
The feelings i try to hide
Are all but unclear to me
I want a resolution
I want an definite solution
To feel harmony in this world
To not be fighting day to day
In a world that just seems to be gray
